Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions, and Tanya Bami, Director of Series at Netflix India, also graced the occasion.

The eight-episode series unfolds against the backdrop of the tumultuous 1940s. It delves into the lives of courtesans and their patrons within the vibrant district of ‘Heeramandi.’ Love, power struggles, revenge, and freedom intertwine, painting a vivid cultural tapestry.

The show has cast its spell not only on audiences but also on its actors. Sonakshi Sinha praises Bhansali for creating a “dream-like world” that held the entire cast captive.
