Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, 81, was recently admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. Reports suggest that his hospital stay was due to a leg blood clot treatment and not heart-related issues.

“A procedure was done for a clot in his leg, not his heart,” a source close to the actor stated. Before the news of his hospitalization surfaced, Bachchan posted on social media platform X, thanking his followers. He also promoted his team, Majhi Mumbai, from the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), with a victorious message.

Majhi Mumbai, led by Bachchan, won against Chennai Singams on March 14, securing a place in the ISPL T10 league final. Bachchan’s acting career began with ‘Saat Hindustani’ in 1969, and he continues to be a dominant figure in cinema. His upcoming roles include ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and a Tamil film debut in ‘Vettaiyan.’
Aankh kholke dekh lo, kaan lagake sun lo, Majhi Mumbai ki hogi Jai Jaikaar, yeh baat ab maanlo (Open your eyes, hear if you can, Majhi Mumbai will emerge victorious. It’s time you accept this.)
Bachchan has also explored music, lending his voice to the Kannada film ‘Butterfly.’ His contributions to film and music underscore his lasting legacy in the arts.
